Therapy Services and Supervision
I provide a supportive space that brings together clinical expertise and care for those facing trauma, depression, anxiety or challenges around body image and eating. I also offer clinical supervision for fellow practitioners. I draw upon an in-depth understanding of several therapeutic approaches which are tailored to individual needs. I currently offer sessions remotely via Microsoft Teams.

Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR)
EMDR is a powerful approach to processing distressing or traumatic memories, helping them feel less intense and integrated into your life without the constant emotional grip of the past. We work with images, thoughts, emotions and body sensations linked to past events, so they feel less overwhelming.

Somatic Experiencing (SE)
Somatic Experiencing focuses on how stress and trauma live in the body. Rather than retelling everything in detail, we pay gentle attention to physical sensations, helping your nervous system move out of survival modes like fight, flight or freeze and towards more ease and safety.
Ego State Therapy works with different “parts” of you – for example, the part that feels anxious, the part that copes, or the part that feels very young or overwhelmed. We gently get to know these parts, understand what they are trying to protect, and help them move towards more cooperation and safety, often alongside EMDR and other trauma-focused work.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
CBT looks at the links between your thoughts, feelings, body and behaviour. We identify patterns that keep you stuck and experiment with new ways of thinking and responding. CBT can be particularly useful for anxiety, low mood and long-term health conditions.
CFT helps you develop a kinder, more balanced relationship with yourself and others. It’s especially helpful if you struggle with shame, self-criticism or feeling “not good enough”. We explore how your threat system works and build compassionate ways of responding to life's difficulties.

What to expect from therapy with me
In our initial session, we’ll talk about what has brought you here, what you’re hoping for, and any previous experiences of therapy. Together we’ll decide which approaches feel most helpful and at what pace to work.
Sessions move at your pace. Sometimes that means going slowly and carefully; at other times it may feel right to work more actively with particular memories, patterns or bodily sensations. You’re always in control of how far we go and what we focus on.
My aim is to offer a space that feels grounded, respectful and curious. I’ll bring my training and experience, and I’ll also listen closely to your own sense of what feels right. We’ll regularly review how things are going and adjust our work so it continues to feel useful for you.
I offer clinical supervision for CBT and CFT therapists. My supervision style is collaborative and reflective, with space to think about your clients, your own responses and the wider context of your work.

Welcoming adults and young people (12+)
Therapy unfolds differently for adults and young people, but the heart of the work is the same: creating a safe, steady space to explore what’s going on and what might help.
With adults, we usually focus on talking things through, making sense of patterns, and gently working with memories, thoughts, emotions and body sensations. Together we decide which approaches feel most helpful and at what pace to move.
With young people, sessions are more flexible and creative. We might use stories, drawings, play, or simple exercises to help them express what they’re feeling. I work closely with parents or carers where appropriate, while still protecting the young person’s privacy and sense of ownership over their therapy.
In both cases, therapy is a collaborative process. We regularly check in about how things are going and adjust our work so it continues to feel safe, manageable and genuinely useful.
